What should I tell the dispatcher?
- Your location: the road, the direction and the nearest cross street or landmark.
- The vehicle: year, make, model, and whether it is light, medium or heavy duty.

- For a tire change: where the spare is, and whether you have the lug nut key.

How do I stay safe while I wait?
- Pull as far off the road as you can and turn on the hazard lights.
- If you get out, use the side away from traffic and stand well back from the road.
- Set warning triangles behind the vehicle if you have them.
- If anyone is hurt, or a child or pet is locked inside a hot car, call 911 first.
